Consolidated Emergency Response Plan Ensures Prompt Action at Automotive Parts Manufacturer
To simplify the management and maintenance of the various emergency response and contingency plans required to be developed by this Plastic Parts and Surface Coating facility, GESI prepared a consolidated emergency response and contingency plan. The consolidated plan covered Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, EPCRA, DOT and OSHA Regulations.

Risk Management Plans for Multiple Chemical Manufacturing Sites
GESI prepared Risk Management Plan (RMP) registration submittals for a chemical manufacturer with similar sites in California, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. For each of the sites, GESI developed worst case and alternate release scenarios and estimated the distances to endpoints using the U.S. EPA RMP Offsite Consequence Analysis Guidance book and using models such as ARCHIE, SLAB and DEGADIS. GESI also prepared presentation materials on the release scenarios for use in public meetings. For the California facilities, state and local regulations required the submittal of additional information for the RMP. GESI also prepared construction and operating permits for air emission sources for expansions at these multiple sites.
